Hi, I'm Maya!
...and I am an illustrator and surface designer who loves story-oriented repeat patterns, vibrant florals, and whimsical characters! I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2025 from the Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration. During my studies, I concentrated in surface design and animated illustration and publication design, with interests in product design/development, fine art and children's books.
As a military brat, I have spent most of my life adapting to environments, collecting inspiration from cultures, and taking advantage of every opportunity! I am deeply inspired by those international experiences, a variety of florals, and the cute side of fantasy. With a combination of traditional and digital media, I strive to connect with and spread joy through my audience's hearts, memories and imaginations!
When I am not drawing, I am practicing yoga, expanding my dangly earring collection, and hunting down restaurants to satisfy my inner foodie.
